A1. Black Sweet Cherries grown under plastic - We are still picking our black sweet cherries and as they are grown under our plastic hoops, they have not been water-logged

Price ranges from $3.29 for a pint to $8.99 for a larger basket.

A2. Apricots - We pick only tree ripened fruit and the taste of our apricots is very intense.

A3. Freshly dug potatoes - Our potatoes are grown by us and are rich and creamy. Variety harvesting currently is Superior, with Kenabec, Red Chieftan and Yukon Gold to follow.

A4. Sugar Plums - These are sweet, juicy colored plums with a sweet flesh and slightly tart skin.

A5. Homemade jams - At the Fruit Shack we make our own jams from our ripe fruits. We use less sugar and more fruit which lets you taste the flavour of the jam you are eating.

Priced at a low $3.99 per jar.

A6. Marias Noodles - This is a new product for us in 2009 and it is fast becoming very popular. Noodles are made fresh and delivered to us - their shelf life is 6 months. Maria carries noodles from Red Lentil Flour, Quinoa flour,Soy Flour, Romana Bean flour and Chick Pea Flour. Also available from her is a fine line of whole wheat noodles with basil or spinach added. Regular Semolina flour noodles are made with the juices of either beet, spinach, carrot, tomato, etc and make a rich and flavourful meal.

Prices for regular white flour noodles is $3.99 and going to $4.99 for the specialty flours and $7.69 for the Quinoa flour.

A7. Zucchini - We pick our zucchini daily and it comes in various sizes, but all the same price

Prices are 30 cents each or 3 for .99 (These prices are subject to change based on availability

A8. Sundry Items - We carry only Canadian items such as honey from Beamsville, maple syrup from Formosa, crunchy pickles made by the Amish in Kitchener, peanuts from Vittoria (near Simcoe, Ont), a good selection of Brickstone spreads and sauces from Quebec as well as a Divinia line of no sugar added jams from Kitchener. These are just a few of our items. come in and browse and we hope you will be happy with what you find at our seasonal fruit market.

A9. Peaches - We are anticipating starting our peach harvest by July 30th. Come in and taste the freshness here at The Fruit Shack where we strive to pick only tree/ine ripened fruits and vegetables.

A10. Rasberries, Blueberries - We currently have a good supply of raspberries and blueberries fresh from the garden.]Blackberries will be available a little later in the season.
